The Edison is a great vacation home in a very quite Fort Myers neighborhood right off beautiful McGregor Blvd. Walk across the street to the Fort Myers Country Club for a round of golf or have a relaxing lunch/dinner and enjoy some live music while watching the sunset overlooking the golf course. Close proximity to Fort Myers' best attractions, historic Edison Estates, shopping malls, downtown Ft. Myers and the river district and great restaurants.
Only 15 miles to 3 of the top 10 beaches in the US, Sanibel, Captiva, Lovers Key State Park and Fort Myers Beach. The professionally decorated home features a huge master suite that opens to the pool. Large spa like bathroom with a whirlpool tub, his and her sinks, walk in shower with body jets are just some of the amenities. A 37 inch smart TV in the master suite.
The other 2 bedrooms feature queen beds, private bathrooms and TVs with cable. Bose stereo system wired in the master suite with outdoor speakers to listen at the pool. Pre wired for apple accessories. Outdoor TV at the pool with cable and a SM refrigerator for your enjoyment. Pool area provides complete privacy with its tropical lush landscaping. Excellent communication from booking to check-in and throughout the stay. It was stress-free to find the house, walk in to a very relaxing atmosphere, and enjoy all the amenities that the Edison had to offer. The location was prime and central for Fort Myers and within walking distance to a great golf course. We especially loved the swimming pool, the bbq grill, and the pool table. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful house, in a quiet neighborhood.The shower and tub in The master bathroom are AMAZING!!! The pool is sparkling clean and everything is taken care of very well! There were plenty of extra blankets, towels, and several pool floaties. When we got there the washer wasn't working. They replaced it with a new one the next day! I am very impressed!

Vesteva rentals was very professional and easy to deal with during the booking process and also throughout our stay. The property was well looked after, clean and in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. The master bedroom was very spacious with a great shower. There is plenty of outside space which makes the Edison a great place to relax. Being able to cool down in the pool and then lounge around on any of the sun-beds or day bed area is great . There is plenty of seating for six people to have breakfast or (barbecue) dinner outside.

The next day, the agent arrived on schedule and gave us a pleasant welcome. When we informed him about the leaky A/C condenser, he arranged service immediately and the problem was fixed.

We really enjoyed our stay .
The pool was nice. The lanai would benefit from a coffee table or two to put down drinks, etc. while lounging. But the space was reasonably private and very comfortable. It was nice to play pool. We watched the football game on the lanai and had access to our Netflix and Amazon Prime shows in addition to local stations. The neighborhood was pleasant. Walking the dog was a breeze. A brief walk to the Fort Myers CC and a short drive to the Edison/Ford Estates as well as to the downtown area. All our other needs were reasonably close by.

Third time at the house. Perfect location. Great property managers to work with. House has everything you need. Very relaxing. Great restaurants in the downtown area. Our favorite as Prime de Leon. Great Steakhouse and great atmosphere. Try it if you get the chance.

Great location, being so close to the water was wonderful and it is close to a park with trails to walk and a stunning view. The house is clean, well designed, and includes all the amenities. It is also located near some great restaurants and centrally located for us to visit friends and family easily.

Lockbox instructions-make a little more clear, 5 of us took 20 minutes trying to find the lockbox and get in the house. Mark the sunken dining room with tape, one in our party fell but luckily wasn't hurt, that can be a major liability! Instructions for operating TVs and stereo. Not all remotes are the same, would be helpful for more instructions, here again it took 5 adults an hour to figure out the system. Also we couldn't figure out how to get music to the speakers by the pool. It would have been nice to have used that during our stay. Please indicate that hair dryers were provided. We didn't see it listed & brought ours but then there were 4 there.

We stayed at The Edison for 7 days/6 nights over the 4th of July week. It was an amazing vacation! The house is beautiful! Extremely clean. Everything in perfect shape. Just an over all beautiful home! Confortable! Very well thought out home for vacationers. It has everything you need. Seems like everything was top of the line from bedding, towels, appliances, furnishings inside and out. The location is fantastic! We went to Ft. Myers beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, And Bowmans Beach. Each taking approx. 15-20 to get to. Captiva was about 30 minutes. Every one of the beaches was worth the experience. Also went Downtown to see the fireworks which was maybe a 10 minute drive. Country Club is walking distance. I will definitely be back! I plan on making it a yearly beach trip. Thanks for making it such a great vacation for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our respite from the New England winter in The Edison. Its proximity to the Country Club was one of the reasons for our choosing this property. The neighborhood was lovely for walking and the neighbors were friendly. The pool was very nice and it was nice to have it cleaned weekly, as the pool cage roof had collected a lot of leaves and dirt that should be cleaned, if possible, especially in the corners near the attachment to the house. Otherwise, it was well-provisioned and generous in supplies in the kitchen and with linens. It was very helpful to find a dog crate which we used in addition to our own to let our pups be near us when we used the pool. We have nothing but nice things to say, and we have booked it again for next winter.

The property was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and extremely well-provisioned. I generally bring a "renters box" of essentials we may need, but I didn't need anything other than what was generously provided. We always bring a crate for our two small dogs, and it was terrific to find an additional crate available to set up in the pool area so that our dogs could be included when we were swimming or dining in the lanai. My husband loved the proximity to the golf course, and we very much enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. We liked the property and our experience with Vesteva so much, we are returning next winter.
